Every now and then as photographers we have to print several photos ourselves, whether as a proof or to save time since our lab takes several days to return our prints. If you are ever in need of a great photo printer but want to check out the quality before you buy, here's something that Canon is offering. And you don't have to be a Canon camera gal or guy to use it, you can be a Nikon, Sony, or anything in between.

this link at Canon Try My Photo. You will have to provide your contact details and of course submit one of your photos for them to test using the Pixma Pro9000 MarkII, Pixma Pro9500 MarkII and a few other printers. I was able to submit about 4 or 5 photos for 4x6 test prints.
