When I saw that this week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces was "The Smirk," I knew I would have plenty of photos to choose from. My son is the KING of the smirk. I love his signature grin. So here you go......The Smirk.

I Heart Faces Photojournalism Photo Challenge--Feel the Funk!
This week the photo challenge at I Heart Faces is Photojournalism. The idea is to submit a photo that tells a story. So here you go.....
Below is a photo I took this summer in Barcelona, Spain of some street performers. They were so energetic and upbeat. A crowd quickly formed to listen to their Spanish-funk music. You can tell by the look on their faces that they love performing and that they are passionate about their music. I must admit that I'm still kicking myself for not buying their CD. What was I thinking??????

I Heart Faces Beach Photo Challenge
I recently found iheartfaces, a great photography site with terrific tips and information. They have a photo challenge each week and this week's challenge is Beach Fun. This is the first time I've entered a photo, so wish me luck!
The photo below is of my daughter and her best gal pal. I love how they are holding hands walking in the surf.
