My collection of vintage cameras is growing. It started with a friend giving me a Polaroid Square Shooter and now I'm hooked on finding more vintage cameras.
Lately, I've been scouring our local flea markets.....I'm obsessed! I have found 2 Polaroid 600 cameras (for $5 each), a Polaroid 103 Land camera and a Polaroid 340 Land Camera ($10 each). The film for these cameras is more expensive than what I paid for these cameras combined! Polaroid no long makes the film and what you find on eBay is ridiculously expensive. Thankfully, the Impossible Project is now making film for all the Polaroid lovers out there for around $25 a pack (8 exposures).
So far, my favorite camera is the Spartus Full Vue, twin-lens box camera. It was manufactured in Chicago from 1948-1960 and is embossed to look like leather. Oh and I also love my Minolta xg1. It has sentimental value, as it was my dad's camera and is complete with a groovy, retro strap.
